Sofia Williams

Biography

Sofia Williams, graduate of Mira Costa High School, is a National Merit Commended Scholar and editor-in-chief for La Vista Newspaper and the Papercut Literary Magazine. She served as Co-Director of Teens for Press Freedom, receiving the Press Freedom Teaching Award from the International Global Youth & News Media Prize. Principal Violinist in the Symphony Orchestra, Sofia shares her talent tutoring youth as President of Music with Meaning. Sofia will study Comparative Literature and Public Policy at Stanford.
