Biography

Daniel Guillen is a graduate of Stanford University where he completed his Bachelor's and Master's in Computer Science. He is currently a software engineer at Cruise, a self-driving car company based out of San Francisco.

In his high school years, Daniel was a youth coach for Student Run Los Angeles, where he helped middle schoolers prepare for the LA Marathon. A National Hispanic Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction, he earned the QuestBridge College Match Scholarship. A self-taught coder, Daniel also led visitors through the science exhibits at Discovery Cube Los Angeles and helped with a Scratch coding workshop for kids. During the summer of 2018, he interned at Google in the Bay Area through its Google Engineering Practicum program.
