Biography

Devon Bankler-Jukes is a Santa Monica native who attended Marymount High School. In 2017, Devon received her bachelor’s degree from University of Pennsylvania in Biological Basis of Behavior. After graduation, she spent a year in oncology research, studying the genetic basis behind colorectal cancer using a murine model. Devon then spent a year as a veterinary technician at an animal hospital. Devon graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She served as a small animal rotating intern at The Ohio State University. She is a small animal surgical intern at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
