Biography
Blessing graduated in 2018 from Harvard College, where she studied sociology and Spanish. During college, she co-founded the Asian-American Women's Association, cross-registered at the MIT School of Architecture and Planning, and wrote an award-winning short story. During her gap year in between sophomore and junior year, she interned at various public service organizations and government offices, including the LA County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Her experiences led her to apply to law school, and she was accepted to Harvard Law School through the Junior Deferral Program. Before law school, she taught English in Spain for two years, interned at the Organization of American States, researched for a professor, took a Zoom French class, and survived the worst of the pandemic with family time and good humor. She is currently a rising 3L, enjoying her time researching for professors, mentoring 1Ls, and teaching Civil Procedure. After graduation, she will be in San Diego clerking for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, and then the following year will be in Seattle clerking for the Ninth Circuit. She hopes to devote her J.D. towards public service and government.
