Jiyoun Roh

Biography
Jiyoun Roh is working as a research technician in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Columbia Medical Center. Jiyoun graduated from Princeton University in 2024 with an A.B. in Molecular Biology and a minor in Spanish. At Princeton, she led the Eating Disorders and Nutrition team as a Peer Health Adviser, taught ESL courses to native Spanish-speakers, and volunteered at the local hospital. Jiyoun also serves as founding member and officer of an advocacy nonprofit called Asian Americans with Disabilities Initiative, which aims to uplift disabled Asian-American voices. Jiyoun graduated from Crescenta Valley High school as an AP Scholar with Distinction, National Merit Commended Scholar, and 3-time recipient of the President’s Gold Volunteer Service Award. She is looking forward to a career in medicine.
