Biography
Dr. Shen is an Assistant Professor at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University, receiving his B.S. with Honors in Cancer Biology. He returned to Southern California for medical school and received his M.D. from the University of California at Irvine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and his combined Hematology/Oncology & Geriatric Medicine fellowship at UCLA, where he is now on faculty. Dr. Shen's clinical practice is in Medical Oncology, where he specializes in cancers of the genitourinary tract, including prostate, kidney, and bladder. He is active in clinical research, leading efforts on several clinical trials for patients with advanced malignancies. He teaches and mentors medical students as part of the Academic Medicine College at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He also serves on the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program committee.
