Julissa Mendoza

Biography

Julissa is a sophomore at UCLA with a passion for legal, academic, cultural, and international studies. She has actively diversified her community involvement and career opportunities in these areas. Currently, Julissa volunteers as a JusticeCorps member at the Long Beach Courthouse Self-Help Center, assisting litigants with documentation and translations. She also serves as a Peer Learning Facilitator, guiding students in the Intro to Comparative Politics course and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Additionally, Julissa works as a Study Abroad Ambassador for UCLA, having spent the summer in Berlin. She continues to promote accessible global education by sharing her experiences through UCLA community events and social media.
