Biography

Kayla Gonzalez is a graduate of Vassar College, where she received her B.A. in English/Creative writing and a Sociology correlate. She spent the 2018-2019 academic year on-leave from Vassar and worked at James Monroe High School in North Hills, California. She assisted students with college and scholarship applications. During that time, she also coached the Mock Trial team at Monroe and led them to fourth place in Los Angeles County. Kayla has a passion for college-access work, so while in college, she helped coordinate Vassar's Transitions program for first-generation and/or low-income students.
