Biography

Michael is currently Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and part of the Center for Orthopaedic Specialties group at Montefiore Medical Center which is part of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. His focus is Orthopaedic Sports Medicine with an interest in cartilage preservation surgery.  Michael is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and has subspecialty certification in Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine. He is the Assistant Director of Orthopaedic Surgery at Montefiore Wakefield Hospital. In addition, Michael is team physician for a couple of local high school football teams in the Bronx and assistant team physician for Lehman College athletics in Bronx, NY. Michael's wife Michele is a Family Physician, and they have two beautiful children, Cristina and Matthew.
