Biography
Rae Jeong, a graduate of Stuyvesant High School, was a national champion in competitive debate and was named a Student Leader by the Bank of America for his commitment to service. For his undergraduate studies, Rae is dual-enrolled at Georgetown University and Columbia University in a 3:2 program. He studies International Relations at Georgetown's Walsh School of Foreign Service and Applied Physics at Columbia's Fu School of Engineering. At Georgetown, Rae was the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Students of Georgetown Inc., the largest student-run business in the world, consisting of eight subsidiary companies generating annual revenues of over $5 million and employing over 300 Georgetown undergraduates. Currently, Rae works at his school's microelectronic laboratory, researching and fabricating biofunctionalized semiconductors. He hopes to work in bio, nuclear, or quantum engineering in areas relevant to national security.
