Biography
Ruwanthi “Ru” Ekanayake is a graduate of Cornell, where she studied biology and global health, and Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in Los Angeles. She is a published poet and accomplished pianist and holds a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo. She is currently a MD/PhD Candidate at Emory University School of Medicine.
