Biography

Thomas O is an assistant portfolio manager for Evermore Global, an investment firm focusing on deep value and special situations. Prior to joining Evermore, he was an investment analyst at Presidia Capital, a value-oriented hedge fund specializing in investment opportunities in Asia. Previously, he was an analyst with Amphor Capital, an investment firm focused on alternative investments, specifically value and event-driven public equity investments. Prior to Amphor Capital, Thomas was a private equity associate at HSBC Capital, the $1.5 billion private equity fund of HSBC Holdings plc, where he was responsible for due diligence and execution of leveraged buyouts, growth equity and mezzanine investments. Thomas began his investment career in 2004 as an investment banking analyst in Citigroup Global Markets' Global Industrial Group. He graduated from New York University, Stern School of Business (2004, B.S. in Finance and Accounting) as a Stern Scholar and with Beta Gamma Sigma Distinction.
