Biography
Tony Hua is an entrepreneur and AI strategist who drives technological impact across industries. As a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, he is pioneering 100x faster failure prediction models for hardware engineers. Previously, he led an AI team with the European Union to streamline legislative policy delivery to over 400 million citizens and also helped globally launch the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses with Meta.
Tony has worked with 44 U.S government agencies and over 800 public aid offices, leading software adoption for large-scale impact. He co-founded Viva Translate, a pioneering AI translation company, and has advised startups like Birdstop and Akoma Health. He has also contributed to space exploration at NASA, autonomous robots at Apium, semiconductors at Samtec, and led electric powertrain developments at BAE Systems.
His entrepreneurial spirit and leadership emerged early—at Stanford and Harvard, he founded dance teams, organized large cultural festivals, started revenue-generating sustainability programs, and started a college-accredited engineering academy for his predominately low-income hometown. With a Master’s in Computer Science from Harvard and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford, Tony combines his entrepreneurial passion and expertise in hardware, software, and AI to help organizations innovate and achieve lasting impact.
